Take your time. Breathe deeply. Rediscover the joy of simple things. le plaisir des choses simples.

Regenair was born out of a desire to offer moments of respite where everyone can slow down, reconnect with nature, their creativity, and their own rhythm.

Through retreats, workshops, and shared moments, we cultivate a gentle approach to well-being, rooted in listening, presence, and lived experience.

Here, it’s not about performance, but about discovery—discovering the breath, movement, the beauty of a calligraphic stroke, the richness of a conversation, or the serenity of a garden.

So many opportunities to find a place of calm and inspiration in a world that often moves too fast.

The Origins of the Project: Stéphane

Creation & History: As a history enthusiast, I began exploring my village’s church on weekends as part of a local organization. There, we “discovered” a Merovingian treasure. And so the adventure began. With the same team, we set out to restore a fortress in Charente. It was during this time that I developed a deep love for traditional crafts. At the time, I was living near Kells, Ireland, and would return to the fortress site in Charente every summer. Kells is home to one of the most beautiful Celtic manuscripts in existence, and so I began to immerse myself in the world of illumination.

Serenity & Breath: As someone who has been practicing yoga for 30 years and is familiar with the practices of Ayurveda and prana, I place a central emphasis on relaxation and breathwork to provide a true space to unwind, clear your mind, and focus on hands-on or creative activities that make you feel good.

Cultural Exchange & Languages: As a bilingual teacher with 15 years of experience teaching English and French as a Foreign Language (FFL), as well as having lived in Ireland and the United States for several years, I strive to make every stay a seamless, educational, and multicultural experience

Earth & Garden: My love of nature and the earth comes quite simply from my grandmother, who taught me the art and joy of gardening from a very young age. In my first illumination studio, I had a medicinal herb garden where I grew plants for their health benefits and their visual appeal.

In short: We slow down, disconnect from the noise of the world, and come together to enjoy beauty, sustainability, and authenticity in a completely relaxed setting.

Above all, a human adventure:

Favourites and getaways.

For me, Ireland was a wonderful lesson in simplicity, renewal and authenticity.

More than the wild landscapes stretching from the Atlantic to the peat bogs, it is the Irish people themselves who make this land so magical. Their warm welcome and their spirit of sharing are experienced above all through music.Over there, music is part of everyday life : it brings people together, forges bonds and radiates incredible energy.
Whether it’s an impromptu session by the fireside or some lively tunes shared in a pub, Irish music gives you an incredible boost and instantly recharges your batteries.

This blog chronicles my travels as I set out to meet this vibrant people and discover their unique musical culture.
An inspiring glimpse into their world for all those who love life, the great outdoors and the warmth of human connection.
